Child Safety

We understand the importance of relationships with children and the role they play in the healing process. However, due to children's decreased immunities, limited attention spans, and safety issues in a hospital, staff will use discretion in allowing visitation of children under 12. Check with a nurse on the unit for further clarification.

If you are bringing an infant into the building as a guest, you must stop at the reception desk and obtain a Visitor's Pass. All staff members have the right to stop you and ask to see your pass. If you do not have a Visitor's Pass, you will be escorted to the registration desk to receive one.
